Prince William will cheer on the Three Lions as they play Switzerland at the Euros Quarter-Finals this weekend.

The Prince of Wales will fly to Germany for the match on Saturday evening at Düsseldorf Arena as England looks to secure a place in the semi-finals.

The Prince previously flew to Germany to watch England play against Denmark in mid June.

He often attends England games as part of his role as president of the Football Association.

England’s victory over Slovakia reportedly made the royals ‘emotional’, with Kate Middleton and William commenting on the rollercoaster match.

The royal footie fans posted on their official KensingtonRoyal X account: ‘Emotional rollercoaster! Let’s go England! Quarter finals here we come!’

And England coach Gareth Southgate could make a major tactical change for England’s Euro 2024 quarter-final showdown against Switzerland as he considers switching to three at the back.

Late magic from Jude Bellingham and Harry Kane spared them an embarrassing last 16 exit against Slovakia on Sunday with the feeling among fans and pundits that something must change for Saturday’s game against the Swiss, who outclassed defending champions Italy in the previous round.

Multiple reports now suggest Southgate could switch to a system with three at the back, trialling that set-up in training this week.

But the Three Lions will have the support of the nation, and the royals.

The Royal family are big footie fans – but some of the teams they support might surprise you.

Prince William is a well-known Aston Villa supporter, having even brought his children Prince George and Princess Charlotte to cheer on the team.

To the surprise of almost everybody, the King revealed back in 2012 that he is fan of Burnley.
